Job Description: POSITION OVERVIEW:

Develop, plan, implement and support non-traditional LTL solutions which positively impact profitability. Responsible for ensuring solutions exceed customer expectations by developing, tracking and reporting appropriate metrics through statistical analysis.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITES:

  1. Conduct analysis of customer requests and determine support required

  2. Analyze customer data and requirements; design, develop and provide appropriate solution

  3. Run rates, submit bids based on capacity, pricing individual lanes, billing and scheduling pick-ups

  4. Fill lanes and gain best margin

  5. Assist with expedite or brokerage needs as necessary to support any traditional and nontraditional LTL offering

  6. Engage operations team and key business stakeholders critical to successful solution delivery

  7. Participate in cross operating company initiatives, successfully positioning the department needs against needs from other functional teams

  8. Track and maintain progress on each project to ensure success and due dates are met

  9. Collaborate with internal and external customers

  10. Develop, post and distribute internal communications for all functional area team members as required

  11. Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures

  12. Perform other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Two (2) years of college or equivalent work experience plus two (2) years of experience in transportation/logistic, warehouse/distribution or operations or a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

• Ability to learn and utilize internal operating systems

• Strong analytical skills

• Solutions oriented with good Project Management skills

• Good time management and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task

• Good interpersonal skills

• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Able to complete required training

• Ability to work independently and as a team member

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Must be able to travel
